Ocotea schomburgkiana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia timur hingga Amerika Selatan bagian utara dan Brazil bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Ocotea schomburgkiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1889.
