Ocotea tomentosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia (Guainía) hingga Venezuela (Amazonas). Nama ilmiah Ocotea tomentosa pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1989.
