Octoknema borealis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Olacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Octoknema borealis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Hutchinson pada tahun 1928.
