Oedera capensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Oedera capensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Claridge Druce pada tahun 1914.
