Oenothera acutissima adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah timur laut hingga Colorado barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan flaming gorge evening primrose. Nama ilmiah Oenothera acutissima diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Warren Lambert Wagner pada tahun 1981.
