Oenothera argillicola adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian timur-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shale barren evening primrose. Nama ilmiah Oenothera argillicola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Kenneth Kent Mackenzie pada tahun 1904.
