Oenothera cordata merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Texas timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan heartleaf evening primrose. Nama ilmiah Oenothera cordata pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1843.
