Oenothera elata subsp. hookeri merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Yaman, Afghanistan, China (Sichuan barat daya, Yunnan dan Guizhou barat), hingga Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Oenothera elata subsp. hookeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Torrey pada tahun 1987.
