Oenothera hexandra merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Oenothera hexandra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Casimiro Gómez Ortega pada tahun 2007.
