Oldenlandia paniculata merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis. Nama ilmiah Oldenlandia paniculata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
