Oldenlandia salzmannii merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil dan Amerika Selatan bagian selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan salzmann's mille graines. Nama ilmiah Oldenlandia salzmannii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1894.
