Olea exasperata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Oleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Olea exasperata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1798.
