Omalotheca roeseri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Semenanjung Balkan. Nama ilmiah Omalotheca roeseri diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1976.
