Onobrychis aequidentata merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa selatan hingga Iran. Nama ilmiah Onobrychis aequidentata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama James Edward Smith pada tahun 1822.
