Onosma gigantea var. hispida merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Boraginaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Türkiye selatan, Siprus. Nama ilmiah Onosma gigantea var. hispida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1875.
