Operculina pteripes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan) yang memiliki kebiasaan membentuk umbi di bawah tanah (geofit) dan berpola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Operculina pteripes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Don pada tahun 1950.
