Ophioglossum polyphyllum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Ophioglossaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis, subtropis Afrika, Eropa, Asia, Arizona, Texas, hingga Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan large adderstongue. Nama ilmiah Ophioglossum polyphyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Karl Heinrich Braun pada tahun 1844.
