Ophryosporus heptanthus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Chili utara. Nama ilmiah Ophryosporus heptanthus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Heinrich "Bipontinus" Schultz pada tahun 1985.
