Oplonia microphylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan thicketwort. Nama ilmiah Oplonia microphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1971.
