Opuntia austrina merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu atau semak dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Florida tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan devil's-tongue. Nama ilmiah Opuntia austrina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1903.
