Opuntia chlorotica merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan dollarjoint pricklypear. Nama ilmiah Opuntia chlorotica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Engelmann pada tahun 1856.
