Opuntia leucotricha merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko utara dan barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan arborescent pricklypear. Nama ilmiah Opuntia leucotricha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1828.
