Opuntia macrorhiza adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat tengah dan selatan hingga Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan twistspine pricklypear. Nama ilmiah Opuntia macrorhiza pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Engelmann pada tahun 1850.
