Opuntia tomentosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Honduras. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woollyjoint pricklypear. Nama ilmiah Opuntia tomentosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Dyck pada tahun 1822.
