Oreocarya crymophila merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan subalpine cryptantha. Nama ilmiah Oreocarya crymophila pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ivan Murray Johnston pada tahun 1943.
