Oreochrysum parryi merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Semenanjung Thailand, Semenanjung Malaysia, Kalimantan, hingga Sulawesi (Kepulauan Sangië dan Kepulauan Talaud). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan parry's goldenrod. Nama ilmiah Oreochrysum parryi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Axel Rydberg pada tahun 1906.
