Oreopanax platyphyllus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Oreopanax platyphyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Élie Marchal pada tahun 1879.
