Ormocarpum trachycarpum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga Tanzania. Nama ilmiah Ormocarpum trachycarpum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Hermann Wilhelm Taubert pada tahun 1915.
