Orobanche crenata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan holoparasit dari famili Orobanchaceae yang siklus hidupnya selesai hanya dalam satu musim atau bisa menahun jika kondisi memungkinkan. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Macaronesia, Mediterania, hingga Iran utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bean broomrape. Nama ilmiah Orobanche crenata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Forsskål pada tahun 1775.
