Orthilia secunda merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ericaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan beriklim sedang dan subarktik belahan bumi utara hingga Guatemala. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sidebells wintergreen. Nama ilmiah Orthilia secunda pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Homer Doliver House pada tahun 1921.
