Orthrosanthus acorifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia utara hingga Venezuela utara. Nama ilmiah Orthrosanthus acorifolius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1977.
