Orthrosanthus laxus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia barat daya. Nama ilmiah Orthrosanthus laxus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Stephan Friedrich Ladislaus Endlicher pada tahun 1873.
