Osmanthus armatus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Oleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Shaanxi selatan, Sichuan timur, Hubei barat, Hunan utara). Nama ilmiah Osmanthus armatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Ludwig Emil Diels pada tahun 1900.
