Osmoxylon insigne merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Maluku (Pulau Bacan). Nama ilmiah Osmoxylon insigne diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1878.
