Osteophloeum platyspermum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myristicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Panama hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Osteophloeum platyspermum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Spruce pada tahun 1897.
