Ostericum maximowiczii var. australe merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Rusia Timur Jauh hingga Korea. Nama ilmiah Ostericum maximowiczii var. australe pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Vladimir Leontyevich Komarov pada tahun 1939.
