Ostrya japonica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Betulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Ostrya japonica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Sprague Sargent pada tahun 1893.
