Osyris compressa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Santalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mozambique selatan hingga Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Osyris compressa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Jonas Bergius pada tahun 1857.
