Otoba glycycarpa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myristicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Selatan bagian barat hingga Brazil (Acre).
