Otopappus scaber adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko tenggara hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Otopappus scaber diperkenalkan oleh Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1924.
