Otostegia fruticosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kamerun utara hingga Yordania selatan. Nama ilmiah Otostegia fruticosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Forsskål pada tahun 1893.
