Ottelia cylindrica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Hydrocharitaceae yang hidup menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari RD Kongo bagian selatan hingga Angola. Nama ilmiah Ottelia cylindrica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thore Christian Elias Fries pada tahun 1934.
