Ottoschmidtia microphylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba hingga Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Ottoschmidtia microphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1927.
