Oxalis metcalfei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Oxalidaceae (suku belimbing-belimbingan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona hingga Colorado dan Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Oxalis metcalfei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1919.
