Oxyanthus dubius merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah hingga Ethiopia dan Tanzania. Nama ilmiah Oxyanthus dubius pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1906.
