Oxyanthus unilocularis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Oxyanthus unilocularis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Philip Hiern pada tahun 1877.
