Oxypetalum coeruleum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul) hingga Uruguay. Nama ilmiah Oxypetalum coeruleum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama David Don pada tahun 1844.
