Pachystegia rufa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Pachystegia rufa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Brian Peter John Molloy pada tahun 1987.
