Paepalanthus acuminatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Eriocaulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Paepalanthus acuminatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wilhelm Otto Eugen Ruhland pada tahun 1903.
