Paepalanthus ekmanii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Eriocaulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba barat. Nama ilmiah Paepalanthus ekmanii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wilhelm Otto Eugen Ruhland pada tahun 2018.
